Welcome! Thank you for taking my Strata Journal class.  

I was inspired to create a journal focusing on horizontal bands of color when I started noticing the layers of rock exposed in the quarries and road construction projects around San Antonio. 

In this class we will be making a Mixed Media Art Journal with a quilted fabric cover and pages made of mixed media paper that we will paint before binding them into the journal.

I had a lot of fun making this art journal, and I hope you guys will too!
